Kotabaru DPRD convenes Regent's speech on RAPBD 2027

Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, DPRD held a plenary session of the Regent's speeach on the Regional Budget draft (RAPBD) for fiscal year 2027.

"Based on the draft submitted, the Kotabaru regional revenue in 2027 is planned to be Rp4.784 trillion," said First Deputy Chairman Awaludin here on Monday.

The revenue comprises locally generated revenue (PAD) of Rp628.021 billion, transfer revenue of Rp4.156 trillion, and other legitimate regional revenue of Rp287.912 billion.

Meanwhile, regional spending is projected at Rp4.874 trillion. The expenditure includes operational spending at Rp2.595 trillion, capital expenditure of Rp1.871 trillion, unexpected expenditure of Rp10 billion, and transfer expenditure of Rp396.258 billion.

Asisten III for General Administration Anang Muhammad Zen said that the draft 2027 regional budget still needs input ndrefinement from the DPRD to improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of local budget management.

“The government looks forward for input from the DPRD to improve governance, development and provision of public facilities for the progress and welfare of the people of Kotabaru,” said Muhammad Zen.

The Assisstant emphasized that the regional expenditure policy, in addition to be directed to fulfilling basic community services and proverty reduction, is also focused on achieving the targets set out in the 2025-2029 regional medium term development plan (RPJMD).

Anang Muhammad Zen hopes the entire process of discussing 2027 budget will run smoothly so that development programs, provision of infrastructure and public facilities can be implemented on schedule and provide benefits to the community.

In addition to submitting the 2027 budget draft, the distrivt government submitted two draft regulations to the DPRD.

The two laws, one concerning additional capital injection into PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Kalsel and the other on Second Amandement to Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 10 of 2023 regarding Regional Taxes and Regional Levies.
